Coverage of day five of the third Grand Slam tournament of the year, held at the All England Club, featuring men's and ladies' third-round singles matches. Taylor Fritz and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina were first up on Centre Court on the fifth day last year, and it was fifth seed Fritz who took the honours in a 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 6-1 victory. Carlos Alcaraz followed them, and the 2023 and 2024 champion triumphed 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 against Jan-Lennard Struff. Alcaraz went on to reach another final here, but he is not present this year due to a wrist injury
