Matsue is known as the 'city of water' - it is home to Lake Shinji, which is famous for its shijimi clams. We see the lake's changing colours and expressions through beautiful time-lapse footage.
Time-Lapse Japan Izumo airs on NHK World - Japan HD at 11:55 AM, Wednesday 21 October. (New.)
