Coverage of day two of the third Grand Slam tournament of the year, held at the All England Club, featuring men's and ladies' first-round singles matches. Barbora Krejcíková got her defence of the title under way at this stage last year with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory over Alexandra Eala. Third seed Alexander Zverev's match with Arthur Rinderknech then concluded after play was halted on the opening evening at one set apiece, and Rinderknech went on to claim a shock five-set victory. However, having won his maiden Grand Slam in the recent French Open, Zverev will hope to fare much better this time around
