George is in the north-east London suburb of Woodford Green, where he meets widow Shaz and her two growing children in their classic Victorian terrace home. After the death of husband and father David, the family are determined to stay in the house they all shared, so George is called upon to confront what needs to change while preserving the family's memories of David in the house and garden and futureproofing the home for Shaz and her children
