Documentary following homicide investigations, beginning in Lancashire with the case of a man brutally beaten to death in a basement squat in the early hours of the morning. A person acting suspiciously is arrested close to the scene, but claims they are also the victim of an assault. With their only suspect denying any involvement, can detectives separate the truth from the lies and prove beyond reasonable doubt they have the right person?
