Bob Mortimer takes Paul Whitehouse to Ceredigion on a mission to try to catch a tope, a rare species of shark. They first settle in to fish at a carp lake close to the coast built and maintained by Mark Owen, a disabled angler who was dismayed at the lack of opportunity for people in wheelchairs to be able to fish. After spending the night in a converted vintage train carriage, the pair head out to sea to search for tope in very difficult and choppy waters
