Barrister Robert Rinder examines the case of Edith Negus from Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Edith died in October 2014 at the age of 102, but it was only after her death that her family discovered she was conned out of nearly £290,000 by Julie Sayles, her carer. Sayles bought two houses with money she took from a bank account she shared with Edith, and after being found out, was jailed for nine years in June 2017
