Nine of the original 14 participants are left as the treacherous terrain and brutal vote-offs claim more victims, and in a dramatic twist the Mountain's Keeper gives one of the group a tough decision to make by choosing someone to leave the mountain. The emotional repercussions of this see everyone beginning to think more strategically, while tensions increase when they are forced to camp in the wild and they start to plot against one another
