When a cab driver is badly beaten and his takings stolen, an electronic travel card found near the scene provides a lead, linking the crime to a volunteer worker at a support centre on the Jasmine Allen estate. The suspect is questioned and protests her innocence, but when officers approach her again she runs off, spilling a fair amount of cash in the process
