The Radio 1 presenter has been cycling across the length of the UK for the past eight days, starting in Weymouth and ending in Edinburgh.
Greg, 40, has cried, laughed and suffered some very painful muscles along the way of his incredible Longest Ride.

But he’s finally done it, with BBC Morning Live capturing him as he crossed the finish line today.
The morning show streamed live from Murrayfield Stadium as Greg arrived to a roar of cheers and applause.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was also there to welcome him into the stadium.

Greg James’ Comic Relief tandem ride
Greg began his Longest Ride on Friday March 13, 2026, in Weymouth, Dorset. His journey then spanned eight days as he travelled through southern England, Wales, the Midlands, northern England and the Scottish Borders.

Greg didn’t suffer any major injuries, but he definitely experienced muscle pain and severe exhaustion.
The DJ finished just after 10.30am on Friday March 20, 2026.
Minutes before he crossed the finish line, Greg spoke to Morning Live presenters Greg Rutherford and Gaby Roslin.
He said: “There’s not a lot left in these legs, I must say. It’s been a crazy adventure this. I’ve enjoyed bits of it and endured all of it.
“I feel empty of energy but completely full up of goodwill and great energy of people. The goal of raising as much money as possible as kept me going.”

How much did Greg raise for Comic Relief?
Greg’s total as he crossed the finish line in Edinburgh was incredible. He broke down in tears as the emotion and exhaustion all became too much.
“I can’t believe it. What a beautiful day, it’s been unbelievable. I couldn’t see, I just kept bursting into tears,” he cried.
Greg also revealed his sick dad was watching from hospital, admitting: “I’m in bits. This has been the most unbelievable adventure.”
At 11.20am, BBC Radio 1 confirmed the exact total. Greg James was told he had raised a whopping £4.42million.
“My brain just stopped then,” Greg said. “There is so much going around in my head!”
Greg’s total will continue to rise. Supporters will still be able to donate to Greg’s Longest Rise even though he’s finished.
