This looks edge of your sofa kind of stuffThe Hunt: Prey vs Predator is a brand new “high stakes” adventure reality show coming to Channel 4 and here’s how it works.
Producers have branded The Hunt: Prey vs Predator a ‘cat and mouse’ style chase between contestants with a mega prize at the end.
And it is anything but an easy ride for those taking part.

The contestants are dropped into a dense forest for a tough battle of survival, strategy and nerve – and there is a high tech twist thrown in.
Here’s everything you need to know, including who all the brave contestants are that have willingly signed up!
The Hunt: Prey vs Predator: How does it work?
10 contestants will be taking part in The Hunt: Prey vs Predator. And, from the moment they arrive, the pressure is on.
The players will step foot in a vast and remote forest before being split into two sides; Prey and Predator. The Prey are tasked with keeping hold of money, while the Predators are out to hunt them down.
The Prey really will have to do everything they can to protect their cash as they scramble through the forest and take on challenges to boost the prize pot.

Meanwhile, the Predators are hot on their heels, determined to track them down and steal it from them.
If the Predators succeed, the roles instantly reverse, turning hunters into the hunted in a dramatic flip.
Channel 4 has made things even tougher for the Prey – and easier for the Predator – by bringing advanced tracking technology into the game.
There really is nowhere to hide for long in the unforgiving forest! But the key is to keep moving or risk the money being forfeited to the other team.
What is the total prize money?
The prize money builds as The Hunt: Prey vs Predator progresses and, by the end, the pot could stand at an incredible £100,000.
Whoever is the last person standing will get their hands on it. Not too bad for a crazy amble around a forest, eh?
Steven Handley, Channel 4’s Head of Reality & Entertainment, says: “The Hunt delivers high-octane Adventure Reality and takes innovative gaming tech to create a world where viewers can experience in real time what happens when we re-engage our primal instincts.
“I can’t wait to discover what strategies a group of ordinary Brits will use to survive in a world where there is only one rule – hunt or be hunted.”

- Nathan, 33, a dentist. This game is right up Nathan’s street, as he’s an ex military man. The dad-of-six says: “Life’s busy. I’m a normal lad from the north and I’m just up for a bit of a laugh.”

- Shelley, 70, a retired model. Shelley admits: “Physically, I am quite fit, but obviously I may not be the fittest. But I think it will be a bit more of just using my charm, I suppose.”
