Well this was a curve ballMAFS Australia‘s Tyson Gordon drops a massive bombshell tonight when he reveals he is still in love with his Brazilian ex-girlfriend.
Tyson admits to his Married At First Sight wife Stephanie Marshall that he is still in contact with his unnamed ex.
Stephanie is horrified to find the pair have spoken since she and Tyson said ‘I do’ for the TV experiment.
To make matters worse, he then admits that he still has feelings for her.
But who is she?!

Tyson makes the confession about his ex-girlfriend during tonight’s episode of MAFS Australia. He and Stephanie go on a lunch date together but it quickly ends in disaster.
Tyson opens up about his ex and admits he isn’t truly over he. He also tells his wife that he believes there could still be “something there” between them.
Understandably, Stephanie is hurt and alarmed by her new husband’s confession.

She rages to the cameras: “It’s so disrespectful to me, the more I think about it I’m quite pissed off. It’s [bleeping] rude. You’re here with me and you’re talking to your ex?”
But fans are baffled.
Earlier on the series, Tyson spoken openly about his ex-wife. He explained in his audition video and to Steph how he had been married before.
Following his shock claims that their marriage ended because she was “messy”, Tyson’s ex even spoke out publicly. She quashed his claims and called their marriage “unhealthy”.
There has been silence from his supposed ex-girlfriend from Brazil, however. There isn’t a whiff of any social media photos, either.
As a result, viewers who have already seen the show in Australia smell a rat – and it’s likely British fans will too.
Writing on Reddit, one watcher said: “That story sounded completely made up. He was just negging and trying to hurt Stephanie.”
Agreeing, another added: “The Brazilian girl probably doesn’t even exist.”
A third added: “He just wants her to think other girls are interested in him. I call bull[bleep] on the whole story.”
And someone else said: “Especially if he still has feelings and believes she still wants him too. Why not get together then mate? It’s obviously bull[bleep] in some regard.”
Tyson speaks about Brazilian ex-girlfriend
Tyson has since spoken about his Brazilian girlfriend claim. Doubling down on her existence, he told 9NOW in Australia that he definitely did not “cheat” on Stephanie.
Without naming his ex, or giving any further details about her, he said: “We’re talking as friends, that’s all it was, it wasn’t me cheating.”
Tyson added: “I think it’s OK to talk with an ex as long as you’re upfront with your partner and you say what it truly is. So that’s exactly what I did with Steph and I guess that backfired in my face.”
