Summer’s hopes of escape start to fade Summer Spellman’s situation is going from bad to worse in Coronation Street, and right now her future is looking anything but bright. With suspicion continuing to swirl around Theo Silverton’s murder, Summer is desperately trying to prove her innocence before it’s too late. Luckily, she suddenly remembers there could be one person who might be able to back up her alibi and finally clear her name. After announcing it’s her birthday, Daniel kindly offers to treat her to lunch, while Nick surprises her with a birthday cake as everyone joins in singing. But the celebrations come to an awkward halt when Shona arrives and casually reveals that Jodie’s birthday isn’t actually until December. With the lie exposed in front of everyone, Daniel is left wondering what else Jodie has been hiding.
