Joe Tate gets nasty with Clemmie in Emmerdale spoilers for tonight (Tuesday, May 6) as his determination to keep her quiet about his affair with Dawn grows. Becoming infuriated by her rejection of a bribe, he threatens her instead – telling her she’ll be put into care if she speaks up.
Later, as Clemmie reveals the truth to a shocked Billy, he grows furious at Joe. But what will he do next?
Elsewhere, Gail leaves Ryan reeling when she tells him that she doesn’t think they’re in love anymore. How will Ryan react?

1. Joe gets nasty with Clemmie in Emmerdale spoilers tonight
Last night Clemmie saw Dawn and Joe kissing. She immediately faked a tummy ache to explain her bad mood and lack of appetite and Joe decided to play caring stepdad and try to get her onside. As he suggested a cinema trip so they could be friends, Clemmie told him she knew exactly what he and Dawn had been up to.
Joe tried to calm her down and get her to talk things through. He even did the old ‘it wasn’t what it looked like’, but Clemmie knew it was exactly what it looked like and wanted to get as far away from him as possible. As he tried to stop her leaving, she bit him, leaving him stunned.
Tonight, Joe tries to bribe Clemmie with a fancy gift. But she later takes the whole thing apart and he catches her. Furious that he wasn’t able to buy her off like he does everybody else, Joe resorts to his other fail-safe method: threats. He tells her if he tells Dawn about the bite, Clemmie is going straight back into care.
Terrified Clemmie is upset and as she fights back tears, she agrees to stay quiet.
2. Billy learns the truth about Joe and Dawn
Following her confrontation with Joe, Billy finds Clemmie upset. Opening up to her father, she admits to biting Joe and tells Billy about his threats to send her into care.
As Billy’s anger grows, he becomes furious when she then reveals that she saw Joe and Dawn kiss. What will he do next?
3. Gail drops a bombshell on Ryan tonight
Ryan is shocked when Gail tells him that she doesn’t think they’re in love anymore.
Ryan agrees to help Gail test out her Mr and Mrs quiz so she can impress Charity at the Woolpack. But things take a bit of a turn in the salon and Gail ends up questioning their whole relationship.
As she tells Ryan she doesn’t feel like they are in love any more, does he agree? And where does her declaration leave their relationship?
