5 Emmerdale spoilers for Thursday: Ella completely loses it as Liam is left in a life-threatening situation

Ella is back in the village in Emmerdale spoilers for Thursday, April 3 – and it’s not good news for Liam. On the edge and desperate, first she takes a hostage and then as the situation escalates things turn really bad for Liam. Will he survive her attack? And what will now become of Ella?

Elsewhere, Caleb agrees to put the past behind him with Cain, but as the brothers make a vow, can they really move forward?

1. Ella holds Mandy hostage

Ella is still hanging around and making Liam and Chas’ life a misery. Desperate to be believed that she didn’t spike Chas, Ella turns up to confront Mandy. She begs her former friend to believe her, but when Mandy refuses, Ella grabs a knife and holds Mandy against her will.

Mandy is forced to get Liam to come over. Ella begs him to see she’s being framed. Worried about just how unhinged she has become, Liam pretends to go along with it and even suggests they could get back together.

2. Liam dead in Emmerdale spoilers?

Ella sees through his trick to get her to confess, however, and realising he is lying she grabs the knife again. Chas and Mandy then arrive and Ella flees.

Liam chases after her into the woods and there’s a confrontation. Ella pushes Liam and he falls, hitting his head. Sobbing Ella believes she’s killed him, but has she?

3. Caleb and Cain back on track

Caleb is released from hospital and shares his new lease on life. He therefore vows never to take his family for granted again.

This results in sharing a beer with Cain. They decide to move forward. Then the brothers make a vow to care for each other’s families if the worst should happen to either of them.

But can they finally forgive and forget and move forward after all that’s gone on?

4. Pollard’s hopes dashed in Emmerdale spoilers

Brenda is getting ready for her cruise. After disappointing Nicola by announcing she was not her plus one, Brenda has decided to take Cathy away for three months.

But she has no idea Jimmy has muddied the waters by suggesting to Pollard he is still in Brenda’s heart. Eric has been given hope that they might have another chance to make their relationship work.

However with Brenda preparing to reveal to him she’s leaving to cruise the world with Cathy, will Pollard have his heart broken? Or will she have a last minute change of heart?

5. Jacob wants Sarah back

Realising he made a mistake dumping Sarah, Jacob talks to her about giving things another go. But she stands firm she is with Kammy now and Jacob has missed his chance.
