On the Northumberland coast, a 999 call comes in from a distressed woman whose husband is drifting out to sea on a paddleboard - the Seahouses crew race out to locate him. In Moelfre, north Wales, when a crew member at the station spots a kayak capsizing, the lifeboat launches to pluck the fishermen from the water. Out on the English Channel, a French vessel makes a distress call
