Kevin and Paul befriend a sinister toughie, Gary Cosay, who prompts them to commit a series of crimes, including cheating on a quiz, forging their parents' signatures, smoking and drinking on an overnight camping trip, and being mean to Winnie. During their nocturnal adventure, the mysterious Gary spooks the living daylights out of the boys in a damp sewer. Once the boys resurface, Kevin re-discovers his sense of morality and decides to be civil to Winnie again
