The crew embarks on a journey through the Mediterranean Sea, whose coasts are among the most densely populated in the world, to explore the profound effect man has had on the body of water. Paul Rose and the team also visit the remains of a Roman shipwreck and, under the cover of night, dive the Straits of Messina, hoping to find and film the sixgill shark - one of the largest predatory sharks in the world
