Coverage of the opening play on day one of the Grand Slam tournament from the All England Club, as the men's and ladies' first-round singles matches get under way. The action will begin on the outside courts before, as is tradition, defending men's champion Jannik Sinner will be scheduled to get proceedings under way on Centre Court at 1.30. The Italian won this title for the first time in his career last year, defeating 2023 and 2024 champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final, and he enters the tournament as the favourite to prevail once again given Alcaraz will be absent due to injury
