Season 1 Episode 1 of 4

Following individuals fighting convictions that they believe to be a miscarriage of justice. At a time when the British justice system is under scrutiny, this documentary explores how difficult it is to overturn a guilty verdict, revealing the emotional toll, legal hurdles and determination required to prove innocence. Beginning with a look at the case of Jason Moore, who was found guilty of murder in 2005 after a man was killed during a street fight he was involved in. Jason's family and close friends have fought tirelessly to campaign for his innocence and even enrolled an unlikely supporter: the victim's brother. When new evidence emerges, casting doubt on the eye-witness account, is it the key to freeing Jason?
