A dramatic restaging of a real-life murder trial in which two brothers are charged with killing their stepfather. The focus shifts to older brother Luke, asking if he was the ringleader or whether his younger brother is turning against him to save himself. The court also hears from the first person to see the brothers after the killing, as well as the brothers' close family. Luke's defence is one of diminished responsibility, but is that just a convenient excuse?
