England v Spain (Kick-off 7.45pm). Mark Pougatch presents coverage of both teams' opening Group A3 match, held at Wembley Stadium. England won promotion to the top division in the 2024/25 campaign by topping a group containing Greece, Republic of Ireland and Finland, and go into this match on the back of finishing third in the summer's World Cup. However, they face a stern test against the Spaniards, who were crowned world champions in the summer, and reached the final of this competition last time out, only losing to Portugal on penalties. The last time these teams met was in the Euro 2024 final, when Spain claimed a 2-1 win courtesy of Mikel Oyarzabal's late strike.
