In Italy, the home of the Dolomites, Griff Rhys Jones climbs the Grand Cir and hurtles along the Sella Pass in a Lotus. He trades the heights for the lower-lying Castle Trostburg in South Tyrol's Ponte Gardena, and heads into the Bletterbach Gorge to learn about how the mountains took shape. He also has a murder mystery to unravel, followed by an encounter with the local bears and wolves
