The last meeting between the sides in this format came in the ICC Champions Trophy in March of this year in Karachi. South Africa claimed a seven-wicket triumph on that occasion after bowling England out for 179 in just 30 overs, before half-centuries by Rassie van der Dussen and Heinrich Klaasen helped to seal the victory
