The Scottish city previously hosted these games back in 2014, with other British cities to host include Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff and London. Birmingham hosted the previous event in 2022 which saw a record-breaking 5054 competitors take part. Events taking place today include netball, boxing, artistic gymnastics, and bowls and para bowls
