Having journeyed across the Alps, Tom finds solace in the serene beauty of Lake Como, visiting the famous Villa Balbianello where he learns about some scandalous escapades connected to the royal family before heading to a vineyard. Tom then floats above the lake in a hot-air balloon, heading towards Venice where he dons a glittering mask for the Venice Carnival and ends this leg of his journey sipping coffee at Italy's oldest cafe
