Behind the scenes on Princess Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, following staff as they experience the highs and lows of working life at sea. From demanding shifts and missing home to late-night camaraderie and off-duty adventures. The newest ship in the Princess Cruises fleet - the Star Princess - sets sail from Fort Lauderdale on a month-long voyage around the Caribbean. It's turnaround day, and guest services manager Magda and her assistant Lewis are racing to check in thousands of new guests, including cruising virgins Ross and Vishal from Edinburgh, who are celebrating 10 years together, and teenagers Harry and Sonny from Worcestershire, who are marking Harry's 18th birthday. On the bridge, commodore Nick Nash from Cornwall needs 90% of guests to complete their safety checks before he can cast off, and with the clock ticking, it's cutting things fine. Once at sea, the ship's young dancers and singers throw themselves into giving guests a taste of the entertainment in store. The next morning brings paradise itself: white sand and turquoise water at Princess Cays in the Bahamas, where non-swimmer Vishal is coaxed onto a paddleboard by his husband Ross. As the sun goes down, the ship's formal night gets underway, complete with a 280-glass champagne waterfall, and Harry's mum Wendy has a magical birthday surprise up her sleeve
