In Middlesbrough, steak and seafood restaurant, Lost Property, kick start the competition with head chef Joe and manager Maria whipping up some serious surf-and-turf sharing boards but one fellow foodie doesn't hold back on their criticism of the cuisine. Day two sees best friends Tom and Jack go all out with their small-plates spot, Finkle and Green, as they throw together a vast array of their favourite dishes to give the group a taste of what they're all about. Finally, laid-back Jenny and Jack at Banh Mi show off their pan-Asian plates in their trendy underground restaurant. Their guests are captivated by their authentic food, but can Jack and Jenny hold on to their relaxed reputation and win over the table?
