A plastic surgeon goes mad during an operation and murders the patient. He later claims to have been under the influence of demonic possession. Mulder and Scully investigate the hospital, finding signs of occult activity. As more doctors lose control and evidence of a similar set of murders 10 years earlier emerges, Mulder suspects someone is trying to protect the patients with witchcraft
