After last week's baked Alaska scandal - which led to Iain hanging up his apron and has since also seen Diana leave the show - judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood assess the remaining contestants' pastry skills. They begin with a signature challenge of a sweet custard tart of their own invention, ranging from rhubarb and custard to tropical Manchester tart. The technical round involves recreating Paul's recipe for mini pear pies, followed by their showpiece bake - a towering collection of three-tiered pies in just four hours.
