The presenter reimagines the rite of passage once undertaken by 17th, 18th and 19th-century aristocrats on their Grand Tours of Europe. Craving a touch of cultural enlightenment, Tom Read Wilson sets out to follow in their footsteps. He begins in Paris, where he's introduced to the refined world of aristocratic etiquette under the guidance of a Parisian contessa, before visiting some of the city's most culturally significant sites, including Notre-Dame and the Gardens of Versailles
