A Muslim woman living in Kashmir lives her life in constant threat from both terrorists and the Indian armed forces hunting for them. She falls in love with an army captain, but their plans for an inter-faith marriage prove controversial, and is threatened by the revelation that her brother is a wanted terrorist.
