The story of the grassroots campaign to ban private handguns in Britain through the recently uncovered recordings of a bereaved parent after the Dunblane school shooting in 1996. After the event, three mothers who were outraged that the perpetrator could legally carry four handguns and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, launched a nationwide campaign to lobby the government to ban the private use of handguns in Britain, gaining support from the bereaved parents of Dunblane including John Crozier, who documented the most successful grassroots campaign in British history
