It is Mum's birthday and she is having a surprise party, with the chief surprise being that she has secretly organised it herself and does not want her friends to find out, so Dad has to pretend he arranged it. Adam and Jonny take her out for a pre-party drink, before she is set to return for the 'big surprise', but Dad realises he's made a terrible mistake and told all the guests the party is for the following week
