Síle Nic Chonaonaigh visits An Baile Riabhach, a townland just west of Dingle in Co. Kerry. Here she meets the locals, many of whom are descendants of the people who moved into the area through the Land Commission schemes of the 1950's. She meets Toose Mac Gearailt, a man with an extraordinary knowledge of the Irish language and a source of countless unusual words, many now out of use. Síle gives a hand to some of the women from the village who are baking treats for the sunrise Mass and pattern to be held on Easter Sunday morning
