Paramedics are called to a woman who has been involved in a road traffic collision having only recently recovered from a back injury caused by a previous car accident. The paramedics also treat a patient showing signs of sepsis who has a heart rate of 200. The heart cannot sustain such a workload and eventually will stop if not treated urgently
