Ben Fogle takes the five remaining anglers to Costa Rica. The contestants start out fishing close to shore, going in search of the remarkably strong and fast roosterfish. They soon venture out into the deeper waters of the Pacific, initially working in teams as local fishermen do, before heading into the open ocean in search of sailfish, the fastest fish in the world. Matt Hayes enlists the expertise of a local conservationist in judging their efforts
