Action from day one of the Major, held this year at Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim. England's Dan Brown, playing in his first Major, held a shock lead at the end of the opening day last year at Royal Troon, carding a six-under par 65 on his Major debut. Ireland's Shane Lowry, an Open champion in 2019, was just one stroke behind and eventual champion Xander Schauffele of America was another three shots further back
