A teenage girl is kidnapped, while a woman who was abducted as a child has disturbing visions of the captive girl. Mulder thinks the same man is behind both abductions and that the woman's trauma has given her a psychic connection with the latest victim. While he seeks her help to save the girl, Scully starts to suspect she may be the kidnapper herself
