Part one of two. Mulder and Scully go in search of the infamous Area 51, only to be stopped by a group of shadowy government agents. An encounter with a UFO results in Mulder and one of the operatives switching bodies. As Mulder takes advantage of his new body's access to the notorious secret base, the operative revels in escaping his unhappy marriage. Spinal Tap's Michael McKean guest stars
