Three couples in Luton, Bedfordshire, battle it out in the culinary contest, beginning with Bridget and her husband Peter, whose menu of tried and tested dinner party favourites leaves their rivals distinctly unimpressed. Next to host are Shawn and Kendra, who prepare dishes based on their travels, before serving up a dessert that reflects their Canadian heritage. Finally, footballer Richard and his fiancee Marina decide to cook an Italian-inspired meal - but Richard proves to be more of a hindrance than a help in the kitchen. With the trio of parties complete, the couples reconvene to decide which pair hosted the best event
