Naturalist Eoin Warner explores the marine animals that inhabit the shallow waters of Ireland and Wales that are perfectly adapted to this rapidly changing and dramatic environment. In this episode, cameras go underwater to join a female catshark as she lays an egg called a mermaid's purse deep in the forest floor. In these extraordinary shallow waters, they find many marine inhabitants have found incredible ways to camouflage themselves from the visiting catshark. Meanwhile, a gang of painted goby uses extraordinary drum-like vocalisations to attract a female
