As summer tans lines start to fade, this documentary meets British women of all ages and backgrounds whose holiday romances endured long after they came home to the UK. Anne, Dawn and Jean all found love on the Greek island of Symi, Maddison, Fleur and Ruth fell for men they met in Turkey, and 70-year-old Dorothy married a 21-year-old Tunisian man. The programme looks at the culture clashes that have sometimes arisen in these relationships, and discovers that even though not all of the love stories have a happy ending, none of the women involved have any regrets about following their hearts. In fact, one of them was even able to use her experiences to launch a new career as a successful novelist
