Three couples from in and around Stoke-on-Trent compete to host the best dinner party and walk away with the cash prize of £1,000. Exhibitionist Phil and long-suffering wife Sue begin the week with a meal showcasing his credentials as a master of the barbecue, while day two sees Becci and boyfriend Ashley's first dinner party, and the young couple aim high with a brave menu featuring a chocolate and avocado dessert and a curious stuffed chicken. Finally, husbands Gary and Simon attempt to out-do them all with a spot of fine dining, featuring the third prawn starter of the week
