In Whitley Bay, Sarah and Sean had a sprawling Victorian semi that had just one bathroom, a tiny kitchen and no garden space, and although Kirstie had £70,000 for renovations, she faced costly setbacks. Meanwhile, Steven and Adeola were at breaking point with their Stevenage new-build, due to chaotic storage, a clumsy layout and grandparents who had moved in for half the year
