Three couples from Glasgow compete for the cash prize of £1,000. Confectioner Carly and her fiancé bank manager Michael host first in Glasgow with a sweet-themed menu. On night two, Ang and Tom's food exceeds expectations, but it's not enough to win over 'Miss High Standards', Irene. On the last night the pressure's on for Irene and Davey to impress with their Scottish fine dining. The evening starts off smoothly, and the guests discover that Davey is a laird, but at the evening's end Davey makes a confession that leaves Irene and their guests gobsmacked
