Mulder's account of finding an alien spaceship in Antarctica is disbelieved, and he and Scully are replaced on the reopened X Files by Fowley and Spender. Skinner points Mulder and Scully in the direction of a case that could prove their story - a scientist who has been killed by a mutated alien. Mimi Rogers guest stars in an episode following on from the first X Files movie
