Both teams came back from 2-0 down in their semi-finals to win 3-2, with Brighton prevailing thanks to Nadine Noordam's winner against Liverpool in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Bunny Shaw was the hero in her side's clash with Chelsea as the double-chasing Citizens left it even later, first sending the match into extra time and then scoring the decisive goal
