In north Devon, married couple Frankie and Jason kick off the competition. Outspoken duo Kate and Ian don't let the evening's many delays go unnoticed, and as tensions rise around the table, internet lovebirds Chris and Amy try to stay firmly out of the way. Day two sees Kate and Ian serve up a menu full of rustic French cuisine, influenced by their 22 years living in France. But a table laying mishap suggests that Kate has overtly snubbed her guests, although tensions are eased when former falconers Kate and Ian bring out one of their favourite birds of prey. Finally it's dog lovers Chris and Amy's turn to step up to the plate, and believing themselves to be the foodies of the group they're confident they can bag the prize for best soiree
