Germany v Curaçao

Germany v Curaçao (Kick-off 6.00pm). Mark Pougatch presents coverage of the Group E match at Houston Stadium in the USA. The Caribbean outfit face one of football's most decorated nations in their first-ever World Cup finals match as they go up against the four-time champions, who have also reached the final on four other occasions. Since their most recent World Cup victory at the 2014 tournament in Brazil, Die Mannschaft have failed to progress from the group stage and have only won two matches at the last two tournaments combined. Julian Nagelsmann's men came through qualifying with a record of five wins and one loss so will be confident of performing better this time around, but will be wary of an opponent they know little about having never faced them before, but who went undefeated in two stages of qualifying in the CONCACAF region. With analysis from Emma Hayes, Juan Mata and Ian Wright, and commentary by Seb Hutchinson and Andros Townsend

FIFA World Cup 2026 airs on ITV1 London +1 at 6:00 PM, Sunday 14 June. (Live, subtitles.)
